Greetings to All:
 
I wish for each of you a great upcoming holiday season.  2009 has been a very busy year for all.  We lost some of members due to death.  They are truly missed.  We gained some new members.  We are so happy to have them.
 
Our next meeting will be on Monday, November 16th at 12:00 PM at Brothers Restaurant. Our focus for the meeting will be “Memories”.  Please have a special trial or joy to share with us.
 
Please bring your volunteer sheets for 2009 to the meeting.  I will have extras if you need them.  Our volunteer hours are very important.  Each hour represents $20.25 for
Volunteer time for our organization.  When our lobbyist, Pam and Lacy go before the legislature, they transform all submitted hours into dollars.  We had about 6 million work dollars last year.  This represents what our organization has contributed back to the welfare of the state.
 
We welcome our new members for this month.  They are Angie Curtis, Erla J. Jones, Janie Forrister, Clara Guffaston, Bill and Barbara Hughes and Joyce Kephart.  We truly appreciate the efforts of those that have encouraged new memberships.  We have lost five members due to death in the last six months.  Our state goal was to have a ten percent increase in membership for the 2009-2010 school year.
 
I hope to see each of you at Brothers on Monday.  Ben and Donna as well as Charles and Kathy are on vacation.  We wish for them an enjoyable time. 
 
Thanks to each of you for your support to the organization.  You have made it a good one.
